Top Gun is a tactical education unit that is organized for the purpose of improving the tactics of the U.S. Navy's fighter aircraft squadrons. The pilots of this unit are familiar with both American military tactics and those of the virtual enemy; Top Gun is known as an elite unit with highly talented pilots. The F-14 used by Top Gun is shown here conducting battle training by reproducing the maneuvers of the enemy's MiG-29 and Su-27 aircraft. Some of Top Gun's F-14s wear Russian-style paint. Fine Molds' kit has an elegant line and delicately cast details, and the inspection doors can be opened and closed. Decals for two versions are included, one of them in Russian style.
