This is an injection-plastic figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display. The Grossdeutschland (GD) Division was an elite unit of the German Army. It had a long history, and began in 1939 when the Berlin Guard Regiment, which was in charge of the Metropolitan Security and the protection of nobles before World War II, was renamed. They were mainly active on the Eastern Front; their final appearance was the battle with the Soviet Army in Konigsberg. This figure kit builds into four GD officers, seated on the ground and having a meeting while examining a map.
